Got cussed out today and threatened by a customer over a Frappuccino😍

We had two callouts, we ran out of VSC, whips, most milk, and cold brew, and our drive thru line was literally nonstop from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Of course people were rude and impatient as heck. At least our manager let us close our lobby down so we weren’t swamped there as the day went on. I worked 8 hours, 9-6, btw. :)

we ran out of venti/grande hot lids and nobody could seem to fucking understand what that meant 🥲

My store was really slow. It was honestly bizzare. We're the highest volume store in our state but there wasn't much happening, even during what's supposed to be peak. Maybe it's because we aren't that close to any retail stores...? It's a busy area but it doesn't have a ton of shopping options nearby. I feel sorry for y'all that had rough days though!

chronic pain picked the absolute worst possible day to have one of the worst flare ups i've ever had and i had to leave 6 out of 8 hours in 🧍 luckily my manager is very chill and saw how bad i was struggling in pain to even stand and sent someone over to take over soon after, and just told me to go home and rest up and seemed genuinely concerned and stuff, but STILL why today out of all days smh. i'm still sore and i have to go back there in like 5 hours from now for a 7 hr shift 🏃

edit: i was terrified before i went in because we had FOUR different district managers at my store today, and omg they scare me, but on the bright side 3/4 were very chill.
