i did figure out why people order caramel macchiatos upside down. a lady who does this explained it to me. it saved her money because i was like .. so you want a latte? ahahha

Either they want the whip in the bottom, they want the whip blended in, or maybe what she means is she wants the coffee “shots” on the top (affogato) and didn’t know how to say that? My guess is whip on bottom.
