Was a fad “diet” promoted by celebrities in the early 2000s. Basically you only drink tea and/or lemonade made with maple syrup and cayenne pepper, and you stop eating any solid food. You “cleanse” your body from “toxins” which lead to weight loss at a crazy rate (because you’re starving).

I find it humorous people think suddenly stopping all normal activity; taking a few weeks to do something your body naturally does on its own then assuming they’re “cleansed and healthy” again, go right back to their old ways and they’re even healthier now!
