Rude supervisors? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Forest0629
I’ve been around the block man I’ve worked at 4 different stores and none have been as bad as the one I’m at now. I’ve had a great experience until now. Listen, I’m not one to bust my ass for a measly 15/hr but some supervisors made me feel like it was more than that. Idk man they made me want to make them proud yk? But not here. Supervisors are always on everyone’s a$$ as if we haven’t worked here for over a year. One has that corporate air about her where she’s all smiles around you but probably hates her job and everyone around her. Another basically discriminated against me for one reason or another. As far as I know I haven’t done anything to her, but I can hear the disdain in her voice when she speaks to me, but as soon as she’s speaks to anyone else she’s all sunshine and rainbows. She has some blatant favoritism going in too, and once, when I was on dto I didn’t realize a car was waiting and she raised her voice at me to tell me to take it. Are there any rules against this? What can I do? I’d like to stay with the company longer but honestly I might quit because of this.

Talk to the SSV about it and ask if there’s a disconnect that you are unaware of because her behavior seems icy towards you. If that leads to nothing, speak with your SM. If that doesn’t get you the results you need to feel comfortable going to work every day, speak with your DM, and if STILL nothing changes, speak with ethics and compliance. You deserve dignity and respect when slinging shots for the siren, but also you need to be transparent about the behaviors around you so they know that they aren’t encouraging the partner experience but hindering it. Best of luck to you!
