So for context, my store is a tiny bit overstaffed right now and our brand new ASM is very much not great !! Has messed w everyone’s hours and cut all of our shifts hours so they’re all struggling to get by now, and about half of my entire store is being nearly forced to take shifts at other stores in the district to make our preferred amount of hours (and for most of us what we need to literally survive), and I’ve been taking some shifts at this one store and have now started to just be scheduled there some days, and my issue isn’t that I’m being scheduled there but my issue IS when that stores SM is scheduling me out of my availability (and I know this isn’t just a me problem because the other baristas at said store she does that to them a lot), and I have no problem working out of my own availability sometimes, however that’s when I myself choose to do so, and I happen to be working that store today so I’m hoping she’s there so I can tell her I’m not working it and it’s not my problem and if not I’ll be texting my ASM asking for the other store’s SM’s number so I can reach out to her myself to let her know I will not be working that, and it isn’t my job to find coverage because It’s not within my availability. And my availability isn’t even that rigid I have all day for Sunday-Tuesday, off Wednesday, 1PM-close on Thursday’s and fridays, and off Saturdays so it’s very frustrating for me.
