You are never required to come in, even if you’re a “last resort”. You won’t get written up, nor should you receive any consequences for not coming in when you’re not scheduled. I’m sure, like everywhere else, there are several stores near by that has a shift that could possible come in. I would consider going on the partner hub and looking up shift supervisor training videos. Some key sections would be role and behavior expectations, get started as a leader, and learning and development library! Hope that helps your decision making!
