Using Mobile Order Partner Discount for SO in Another State (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’ve been trying to look into the policy of ordering a drink through the mobile app for my SO who lives in another state. Technically, I am paying for the drink by using my discount on my app. She does not have access to my numbers either, and she is not reimbursing me in any way. Is this something that could be contrived as against Starbucks policy? Does Starbucks track partner mobile orders and their location?

I’m not aware of Starbucks tracking discount usage at all. Just markouts.

They do (SM gets a print out and can see all mark outs and discounts), but it’s only an issue if the employee is not the one paying.
This one should be okay… it’s a paid MO so there’s nothing stopping anyone from picking it up. It’s a little dicey if you’re on shift when you place the order but as long as you aren’t, it *should* be fine.
