randomly found this in the reviews of a store near me, you can tell neither has mocha... the remake just doesn't have coffee. but the customer is always right lol (i.redd.it)

Omg why do some customers be like "idk why my drink took so long. I was the only one there"....just cuz ur the only physical customer in the store doesnt mean theyre not busy. Customers like this usually exaggerate their wait times and about them being the only one at the store. Anyway, if they were the only ones there, they still have to wait especially if the store is understaffed or there are new baristas or maybe they have a ton of mobile order or delivery drinks theyre working on. And as far as the drinks go, i cant really comment on it cuz idk what their sticker even says when they ordered the first time around and if they have any added customizations

Lolol they seem to not be situationally aware. Because u gotta have a unique type of brain in order for u to think that the world stops for u. To people like these, they act like the world isnt or shouldnt be doing anything as soon as they show up. Just cuz u dont physically see any customers, doesnt mean we're not fulfilling drink orders with being understaffed, new baristas probably or customers at the drive thru like u said. The whole world doesnt stop to service them when they show up to places. There will always be a wait time...some short, some long but there are factors that play into why...and like i said lol they love to exaggerate wait times, what the barista said and if there was any other customers around

They most liekly ordered the java chip frap sub white mocha but they thiught the coffee color was mocha and they ended up with the double chocolate chip frap sub white mocha instead lol

I had a customer tell me the best caramel macchiato they ever had I made. It was also the one where after I finished making it I realized I forgot the shots 😂. Some people only think they like coffee what they like is actually lots of sugar with a coffee name.

I made sure I didn't touch the wrong drink this morning, but they insisted I take it.

I ordered a macchiato and the lady rang up a latte. She didn't read my order back to me and I didn't catch it until I sat down and pulled up the app to tip. I tried to get to the lady making my drink in time, but failed. I guess cuz I was so nice about it, they let me have both?

I just wanted a blonde espresso macchiato with caramel brulée syrup added. Is there a better way to order that? The cashier said she didn't know how to ring it in the way I asked.

Not the person u commented to but there are buttons on the register for espresso macchiatos. Sometimes people at my store get a triple espresso macchiato and sometimes its a doppio espresso macchiato which has a great espresso to milk foam ratio since its just 2 shots of espresso with a dollop of foam on top😋👌

So say u want 2 shots in ur espresso macchiato, say "may i please get a doppio (or double) espresso macchiato with X amount of pumps of caramel brulee"

Not a problem at all! And thats weird that it won't let you add any syrups to your espresso macchiatos. I mean they don't come with any syrups but several other drinks don't either but you're able to add syrups to it. So that's strange but I don't even use the app cuz I don't buy anything from Starbucks other than my free drinks and foods on the days that I work lol so i dont kno much about the app itself but it's weird that the Barista told you that they didn't know how to ring it up with the way you said it because they definitely could have. Unless it was a newer Barista who didn't know about espresso macchiatos because that's not something that's ordered often

If it was my mistake or just a misunderstanding then I’ll let the person take the extra drink if they want it (it’s no use to us, if it’ll make them happy or they bring it to a friend then that’s great), *unless* they’re obviously trying to get a free drink out of it or if they’re just being rude or wasting my time, if I read the order back to them as a grande and they agree then when I go to hand it out they say “oh I wanted a venti” and I *know* I repeated it back to the person, or if someone else on the headset agrees that they asked for a grande, I’ll make the venti and if they already paid I don’t make them pay the difference (so yes, a free upgrade), but they definitely wouldn’t be getting both drinks from me

tl;dr: unless you’re obviously trying to scam me I’m happy to give out both the mistake drink and the remake

That's understandable. 90% of the time, I don't want the extra. I mean I love my sugar, but it takes me all day to drink it. I happened to be on my way home this time, so my husband was happy to get it.
