I literally had a customer very angrily ask me why the prices were so high, even after I read out the order and how much everything on it cost. Like babe, I don't control inflation :/

We were out of peppermint part of last week and everyone was so mad😭. We’ve been out of dark caramel half of forever. Now we’re out of all frap base, caramel brulee, and last week we ran out of drizzle twice too. It’s always people in drive who end up stuck in the line too😭

I really feel for this morning’s partners, I work closes so it isn’t as bad for my shift. Hopefully we get some of it on tonight’s truck, fingers crossed. I don’t work again until tomorrow.

Yess lol and i had a customer say something to me about prices but not like blaming me but he just got weird...
So this regular who always gets a trenta cold brew with oat milk and raw sugars came in soon after the fall launch and he mobile ordered his cold brew and he says to me "prices went up again. The cold brew price is higher than what it was before this" and i said "yea with every launch, prices rise" then he said "thats why u guys should unionize" and started askin me if my store is thinking about it and got into politics lolol does he really think im guna stand there behind the bar and converse with him about unionizing? He just took it way farther than it should have gone lol if u dont like the prices, u could go to a Wawa store right down the street is in my area we have a bunch of them and they have cold brew over there and it's cheaper than Starbucks

Lol I had a lady order from me today we were out of 2 things she wanted. (Out of like 8 things she asked for). And she goes “what kind of Starbucks are you??” And I said “sorry, we’re not getting our shipments in right now” and she cuts me off and says “I don’t care about that! Now don’t tell me you’re out of sugar plum danishes too” and I said “unfortunately we just ran out” and she slams her hand down and goes “that’s it. I’m out of here” the girl behind her and I made eye contact while both of us had a look of semi horror on our faces 😂

right? god forbid your store doesn’t have 3 things of her 8 item order 😭 most humane people would just take the L and get the rest and accept the less calories benefit. People are just so greedy though, they’re already asking for so much, ungrateful as they order it, and then throw a temper tantrum like they’re a kid and the lunch lady said they can’t afford their extra bag of chips that day. And what’s absolutely crazy is that if a corporate person was there? they’d reward that behavior with a fucking gift card or something they clearly don’t deserve because they made everyone in the store uncomfortable. Anyway i’m sorry you had to go thru that!

yup, love working at a non high volume store that gets more traffic then the high volume store
