I hate Christmas music regardless, so I hate every single shift even more with the Christmas music.

You could just turn down the radio itself. Id rather work in “silence” than have garbage Christmas songs.

Ours changes for about an hour, we keep an iPad up front so we can change it quickly. At least I know when I hear that music that makes my ears bleed I’m that much closer to clocking out 😂

A lot of partners at my store just create work appropriate playlists on their phones and then plug that into the store music player instead of using the playlists set up by starbucks.

You’ll likely have to get some kind of dongle to plug your phone in since it uses the old headphone jack style plug-in.

But only do this if you know your manager won’t care or you’re fine with risking it.
