Refreshers with espresso or heavy cream. Makes me gag every time. But maybe the venti iced one shot, heavy cream lattes are worse. I can't decide.

It's one of those things where I'm obviously not going to judge the customer or tell them it's gross but the thought of drinking that or watching someone drink it makes me feel physically ill.

Extra strawberry acai
Light heavy cream(should be a darker pink not pale pink. If it's pale pink it's gonna be gross with too much hc)
No strawberry inclusions

I shake the matcha like normal but then I use the lid to strain the liquid out to the ice line and then layer the ice and foam on top and that seems to work the best for me, especially with cold foam!

Iced doppio espressos. Hear me out, but almost never is it one or fewer modifications. Its 7 pumps this, 2.5 pumps this, mixed cold foams or other things.
Breaks all sequencing to read a CVS receipt while knowing that they paid less than a latte price for it.

And it won’t be right for them. Dealt with this last night. Quad on ice, 7 pumps syrup and VSCCF. She did NOT say in a venti cup, so she got a grande cup filled to the brim. “This was supposed to be venti.” No you did not say that, but sure we will give you 6 inches worth of sweet cream foam. Sound delicious 🤮

Forgive my ignorance but I wonder if this is a store to store preference. I’m at a high volume cafe store and there’s not really any way else for MOP customers to get an iced water. None of my coworkers have an issue with MOP customers asking for a water at hand off as long as they’re polite. I’d rather just get it for them real quick than them need to wait 15 minutes in line and then another 10 minutes for it. But I get every store layout is different too, and our cold filtered water is right by hand off..

Yes mobile order customers are the only exception because they do not have a choice to order waters and its not their fault. I dont mind getting it for them but if other people ask for waters at handoff I will tell them to wait in line.

If they are in line then sure. We are at the airport and TSA loves trenta water like me but they have to be in line. We had one agent get in big trouble for demanding a cup of ice at our handoff area. Even asked my boss for his boss. I happen to know their boss, who stands in line, so it didn’t end well.

Don’t know why iced matchas are getting so much hate! If you put the ice in after the milk but before the powder (and actually shake like you mean it) it won’t clump. And you can use the lid to strain the liquid out before the ice and get rid of a lot of the foam that happens with the dairy based ones.

HCMT is top, tea lattes go second, and iced matchas. Honorable mention to the regular at my store who orders a tall van sc cb with a lot of raw sugars, a couple splenda, and ex vsc w vsccf on top. Its basically sugar with a splash of cold brew and for a small drink, thats a lot of effing effort. It also looks crunchy.

Anything with matcha in it is a nightmare to make. That stuff sticks to everything and is hard to clean up. I also very much hate when customers order shaken espresso drinks without the ice. Do you want me to strain the ice? Do you expect it to be hot? Why are you upset that the cup isn’t full even though the ice is what would fill it up the rest of the way? I’m confused.
