do not do it verbally. have it written or emailed so they can put it in your records and not be able to mark you as not-rehire-able. a note that includes your end date and your signature.

You can give it verbally to your SM, give/leave them a letter, or there should be an email listed for them somewhere in your store. It doesn’t have to be super formal just tell them you’re giving your 2wk notice and give the last date you’d like to work.
