couple questions abt brewing standards (self.starbucksbaristas)

so i've recently been told that the way i've been brewing coffees isnt right, but i've been here over a year and while i wasnt trained well/at all I feel like someone would have corrected me by now but anyways, heres what i need to know:
1. how many scoops for each size of pour over
2. how many scoops for a full batch of brewed coffee

For the pour overs (going from short to venti), it's 3/3/4/5.
And for brewed coffee it's 4 scoops for a full batch.
And for brewed coffee it's 4 scoops for a full batch.

and its the small scoop used specifically for pour over ground coffee, not the large scoop used for batch brewing

Wow did it change back to four scoops for a full batch? According to my manager it changed to three scoops a few years ago- he was super strict about the change saying if we all didn’t get on board his inventory accountability was going to be off. 😳

Omg glad I saw this because I swear when I was trained it was 3 scoops for a full, so I kinda thought I was crazy/making coffee wrong for like a year now.

yup ive been doing 3 as well but someone told me it was 4 yesterday, but nobody in my whole store has corrected me on 3 so i was mad confused

It depends on the store and what your brewer is calibrated to. My store is still calibrated for 3, but most stores it is 4. The only way to know is to make a ticket and ask the tech who comes out. Very inconsistent and frustrating rollout by the company of this change last year..

What the other commenter said about amount of scoops per size is correct. My store has this sticker thing on the side of the brewers that show how many scoops (with the little scooper) each size gets. Idk if those stickers are orderable or not tho
