So I changed my availability to say I can’t work Saturdays anymore, but my manager rejected it, saying that I can’t work no Saturdays. She said she is trying to make everyone work one Saturday a month. I was told this in October; and since then I have worked every Saturday except those I requested off for specific reasons. Saturdays at my store are awful and I’m miserable having to work every single one despite being told I wouldn’t have to, and it’s genuinely making me consider looking for new job. How should I approach this with my manager?

How is ur manager when it comes to requesting days off? Does she ever give trouble or pushback or is she good with it? I mean for the other saturdays that u said u requested off for. Was she cool with accepting those or was she giving u a tough time on them?
Theres a shift at my store where literally, no exaggerations, every week has 1 to a couple days requested off. Idk how my manager is able to do that for her but this shift is mainly a mid/closer
