It's definitely a lot easier than what you build up in your head. At least that's what it was like for me.

I just sat down with my SM and told them I needed to transfer because it's a little too far and I can't afford gas. They told me to call around to see if any stores would take me on, so I did. And I found one about 12 mins away from home, which is where I am now.

So just talk with your manager and call the store (or go there) to see if they'll be willing to take you. Your SM will hopefully help you with paperwork and all that along the way.

ETA: To clarify, I meant "call the store you wanna transfer to."

Transfers take about 60 days, depending on the managers/district so make sure you have that in mind! I’m about to put in for a transfer in another state because I’m moving lol
