Oh no. Never. A lot of people getting mad and yelling at us. Complaints made to corporate or our manager. Lots of bad survey reviews. Or they’ll just walk in, be told we can’t make the drink, abd then turn around and leave.

I honestly just prefer them leaving. I know it sucks and it makes me worry about hours, but I’d rather them just be gone. When they stay, they argue, they’re mad, and honestly they are going to get a $7 drink they don’t like as much.

Yea i feel ya, we dont have too many things were out of but when a customer does ask for something that we are out of and we tell them that, in my area the people arent too mean about it. They just go "aww man that sucks but ok ill get something else". Like they show disappointment (understandable) but no screaming or blaming or anything like that. Sorry that u guys keep gettin yelled at for shit thats not anywhere near ur fault especially anyone at store level

OP I see everyone talking about how they’d be closed… you still have brewed coffee and regular espresso correct? My old stores did gang buster business on caramel macchiatos, skinny vanilla lattes, & brewed coffee. I am failing to see how this would be a reason to close. (Other than y’all aren’t paid to take verbal abuse and should close for your sanity)

We would sell so little, at least the second half of the day, being out of all that. We ran out of both white mocha and caramel drizzle one day last week; and we have been out of dark caramel for a couple weeks, and that was the worst, it was “I’m sorry I can’t make that” for 2/3 of the customers.

We had a ton of elderly people who would come in early for coffee & to chatter. At night we would have a large taxi driver group come in for coffee or tea & to chatter. Both groups highly enjoyed the refill policy 😂. Beyond that it was also a different time where I’d get to go on field trips to pick up whatever we needed from other stores because we ordered incorrectly.

Repeating HCMT back instead of saying “medicine ball” is similar to repeating Frappuccino back instead of “frappe”; normal company policy. Also, it’s probably best to avoid saying medicine, to me that sounds trouble-y.

Oh we had give signs total and we’re told by our manager to put them up. We have one in each entry door. One on the patty case. One on an A frame before drive through so people didn’t have to wait in line to find out we were out of something and then one by the speaker in drive thru too.
