lol front didn’t give any fucks.

I wouldn’t care to explain to them either. especially when some people get so salty
Responsible_Snow7109 25 points 7m ago
Lmao i was about to say something about it too....i love whoever rung Susan up cuz theyre probly like "nope not today. Stupid tax it is" 😄
Cinnamonvirgo [OP] 3 points 7m ago
yup i double checked with the partner before i started making the drink. i didn’t even bother explaining it to the customer though because she talked and looked at me like i was the idiot when i read the sticker to confirm that was EXACTLY what she wanted 🤦🏻‍♀️

so do they want a like half full cup of espresso and steamed milk no foam or do they actually want a regular no foam latte? i wouldn't know which way to make it if i were on bar
Affectionate_Guava71 42 points 7m ago
I usually just go with “if they didn’t pay for it, they don’t get it” attitude on bar so just two shots
graham1987 16 points 7m ago
alas they did pay for milk since its a cappuccino, and milk comes in a cappuccino. all of those get some amount of milk (plus foam), and only an extra extra dry cap is *only* foam and no milk at all... so in theory they should get two shots and like ½ to ⅔ cup steamed milk sans foam, but something still tells me that's not actually what they want... would hate to be on bar and get that order!

edit: the ppl have spoken, 2 shots not 3

ok tbf i quit in 2020. but back then (and maybe still now?) some blonde espresso drinks came w/ an extra shot (prob to balance the flavor or something since it's less "bold") &/or one less pump of syrup, can't remember which it was

edit: judging by the downvotes and comments, it seems like if it was ever accurate that blonde drinks came w/ an extra shot, it's not accurate now so don't do it!

A all foam no milk is a espresso macchiato
teateatea5353 2 points 7m ago
if they want a 2 oz drink ya maybe if they order it extra dry/no milk, but if they want a couple shots and 16 oz of foam then that'd be an extra dry cap. an espresso macchiato does get a tiny bit of milk; it's only all foam if they order it all foam

Recently had a customer mobile order a strawberry açaí lemonade, no strawberry base, no lemonade, no inclusions. We waited for her to get there so we could figure out what she actually wanted and she said “I want what I ordered.” Had to explain to her that what she ordered was in fact an empty cup for $6
IchirakuVibes 2 points 7m ago
I mean..I would've given her the cup with ice :D
heyoliviasmith 12 points 7m ago
Nothing like the BSSE asked to be made upside down and blended. 🫡

I wish Dunkin would just get on the correct title bus so people would stop getting so confused
aerkyanite 6 points 7m ago
Wait, you mean this no-foam, cup'o'cappy bullshit is Dunkin's fault? Those donut selling miscreants are goin DOWN.
laughingashley 5 points 7m ago
They came out with "iced cappuccinos" years ago and it was only a matter of time lol
lat3spr1ng 5 points 7m ago
we stopped allowing them a little after I started but we used to offer iced cappuccinos 😬 if I remember correctly we just cold foamed regular milk and added it over the espresso
jazzysoranio 5 points 7m ago
“Can I have a water, but with no water in it, and filled with Frappuccino. Um, water is supposed to be free.”
ManiKolt777 5 points 7m ago
Customers are not always right unfortunately. That’s what they like you to believe so they can manipulate the employees to get what they want
jeonzelink 3 points 7m ago
I would’ve made it to the tall line as standard for cappuccino and leave them room where the foam is supposed to be lol
rwwhys 3 points 7m ago
How?

yes you can use stars in the cafe! what i think the user above you meant was that there are certain deals on the mobile app where if you obtain a particular drink, amount of drinks, etc., you earn a certain amount of starts when the deal is activated on the app. hope this helps!
Imaginary-One-6599 1 points 7m ago
People order cappuccino with no foam/dry cause it’s cheaper than a latte. Smart yet annoying

Omg these drinks annoy the crap outta me!!! It's definitely a good opportunity to educate the customers though, because obviously they need to understand the difference between a cappuccino and a latte

Maybe the app wants them to get a cappuccino?
mypoopoosmelly69 5 points 7m ago
sticker says cafe and based off of the title, don't think they are doing it for stars
Zealousideal-Star448 0 points 7m ago
You can use stars in cafe? And I’m sorry I’m confused about what you mean by title
