Imagine this:
Big events going on downtown where my store is, we’re already out of a lot of things so customers are especially angry and needy. We’re not well staffed. We’re slammed out the ass.
Then, mid peak, delivery guys show up with our RP order (that was already over a week late). We usually get our orders delivered overnight. We put them away during the half our before open. It came MID. PEAK. I got off an hour ago and it still hadn’t been put away, obviously because we didn’t have staffing to do it. Our store is tiny. The BOH was full of boxes. Today was brutal.

this has been happening at my store and a borrowed partner for a store nearby said it’s happening to them too. like it’s wack that’s 3 people who are supposed to be on the floor now having to step off to put everything away .
