Never heard of this point system, 10 year partner here, as far as know they can fire you after 1 unexcused absence [absence where you have no sick hours to cover and no one covered your shift for you].
Starbucks is “at will” employment, meaning your employer can fire you at any time, for any reason, as long as it’s not discriminatory
