At a store I was a borrowed partner at (so not my main store) I didn’t get a woman’s coffee when on register because she wanted syrups and shots that were across the store (it was a huge store so not possible for me to get it) so she walked up to me and started screaming at me for like 5 minutes straight 🥰🥰 even though we gave her her coffee as soon as she started yelling at me. And she did this in front of a huge line of customers I had to ring.

someone started cussing me out because his card wouldn’t reload 🤩 it was saturday peak right after holiday launch, nonstop people and he lost his fuckin shit. the girl behind him was like holy shit are you okay and i started crying

Some guy peed from a couch all the way to the bathroom then on the toilet seat and floor and wall and changing table…. And I got to clean it up ❤️ (tied with some ancient poopy diaper man getting livid in drive over the wrong pastry. I had to cry in the back.) (also yes I know I wasn’t supposed to clean it but didn’t know at the time. Was new.)

I was on customer support and had stepped into the cafe area to wipe down some tables. Going around the counter meant walking by the handoff. One of our morning regulars was standing there. He wasn’t known for being rude but on this day he was pissed because people were picking up mobile orders before his ice coffee was ready and I guess he took that to mean we were intentionally not making his order right away? Who knows, but he stepped in front of me and he (6’2”) leaned down to put his face directly in front of mine (5”0’!) and he *screamed* “THIS WAIT IS RIDICULOUS, YOU CAN KEEP MY $5” and he stormed out of the lobby before I even had time to process. It was so sudden and loud, he scared the mess out of me and I just went in back to cry because it really bothered me. He stopped coming by after that until a few months later and I made sure to slap on a big stupid smile and greet him by name the minute he walked in the door so that he knew *i don’t fucking forget*. This was like four years ago and I still remember his face and name. Fuck you, Ross!!!!!

a customer told me to kill myself and to have fun dying because i was wearing a mask. this was during the mask mandate of the pandemic. i was a borrowed partner at another store.

Ive mentioned this before on this sub but this one got me the most mad in my little over 2 1/2 years here:

Slower time of day. I was on bar. And like 2 other coworkers were around doing CS and other stuff. 3 girls are waiting for drinks and sitting down near hand off on their phones patiently waiting. I was doing their drinks and a 5 drink mobile order and then this troglodyte of a karen walks in and literally word for word goes "ummm is there a mobile order for linda??" I took a deep breath cuz i knew this was guna be the one lol...

I said "hi so im currently working on a 5 drink mobile order but as soon as im done this specific order, i can check the stickers at the printer to see if i can find ur order" and she got even more rude. She said "um no thats not guna work. Ive been waiting in my car for 8 minutes. I thought u would have started it already". Then i stop what im doing and check the stickers and i tell her "im at the end of my sticker line and i don't see ur order, i can help u look on ur phone if u want" and she put her phone on the hand off counter and slid it towards me in a swirling motion lmao

Then i had the very best pleasure of letting her rude ass kno in front of the other waiting customers that "im sorry it looks like u placed ur order to another store like 7 minutes down the street" and at this point, i wasnt guna offer to make it at no charge at our store cuz she was extremely nasty.

But she just right away says "well then how do we fix this??" I told her that she can go pick it up from the other store or that we can make it for her here but that we would have to charge her for it and then she could get a refund for the other order whenever she pleases and she asked me how to get a refund and I told her and she said "no its not" lmao so i said "ok! 🙂" and she was freaking out at me still as i was walking to the back to breathe.

I think she got even more angry because she had this air about her when she walked in and was extremely rude from the start so because she ended up looking like a fool for coming in all rude and ended up being that she placed in order to the wrong store, I think she became even more embarrassed but covered it up with anger
