I’m in a licensee store and I was the only one closing which is usually the case that there’s just one. No one else was able to cover me which is fair it was extremely short notice. I woke up with a sore throat and thought nothing of it, since I got my flu shot on Tuesday.

Then progressively as I was working the soreness spread literally everywhere — especially my back. My hands were freezing but my face and eyes were burning hot. I was allowed to close at 6 instead of 7 but it was probably the most painful 1hr of cleaning. And I used to be a CNA! At least as a CNA I could sit and chart.

I’m hoping I can sleep it off to work tomorrow. it’s so embarrassing being sick….
