Was working at the warming station yesterday and my shift was on front trying to sort through one of this tools custom drinks.
Before I caught myself, I said loud enough for all to hear”yeah, I genuinely hate that guy”
The customer was a mom with her two kids who were obviously there on a fun outing and the mom was somewhere between surprised and sad that I would say that.
I let them chat for another minute before apologizing for the pointed honesty, but I was personally surprised at how honest it felt.
Bit later in the back, some coworkers asked if I was upset (apparently my face still showed it) and I gave them an expletive laced rundown.
My pet peeves are: self aggrandizing narcissists and people who make the lives of others more difficult while they boost their own self image.
This guy checks both boxes.
In short, (language inbound), Fuck. That. Guy. and his stupid drinks.

Lmaoo I keep getting his videos recommended to me! I see him everywhere... and all of his drinks look atrocious.

Yes! I get customers come into my store (in the UK) seeing his videos on American based drinks and they ask for it and we don’t have half the stuff. Once this mum started screaming at me in front of all the customers saying “how dare I refuse to give her daughter the drink she asked” I then had to explain that for us to abide by the law, that means we can’t have some of the drinks that they have in America because of the calories, sugar quantity and calories quantity maximum limit that we have. Also had to explain that because of the limits we don’t have a Trenta size and that the largest we did was Venti. I did show the girl a person who makes drink that are allowed in the UK so she was happy but damn that was one hell of a day. I’m just lucky my manager let me have a few minutes to calm down otherwise I would’ve been extremely tense for the rest of my shift.
