i just wanna start this off by saying that i normally try not to have prejudice against people because of their political stance but the fact that this regular BLASTS trump speeches in the cafe makes them all the more annoying. the customer has come in the past few nights and has been ordering a venti drink in their grande reusable cup. my most recent interaction with this customer went like this:

me: “hello! how are you today? (:”

custy: “can i have a hot chestnut praline in my personal cup” *hands me their grande reusable cup*

me, trying to have a positive experience: “i’ve been noticing you order a venti even though this cup is a grande, and the venti usually ends up having too much leftover-“

custy cutting me off, rolling their eyes: “it fits in there 😒”

me w/ attitude: “so you want me to charge you more for a venti???? 😃😃😃”

custy: “yes. 😤”

the best part about this experience is that i forgot to press the personal cup discount and accidentally made them a chestnut praline in a regular cup. they came up to me and was like “i wanted my drink in MY cup 😡😡” and when they asked me what i was going to do with the extra drink, i told them i was going to throw it away and dumped it right in front of their face. take that, bitch.
