That bit in whichever policy book that says if there are only 2 partners working neither can clock out for their 30? Or is it just the shift? I couldn't find it in the search function on here 🙃
Thx 😘

It should be under the time worked section. I don’t have it in front of me currently

Or the rest and meal breaks section

Wait, last week we were running a two person play and my 30 was to be when the 3rd person left. The shift was ok working alone for 30 minutes but I offered to take my lunch 20 minutes early so she was only alone for 10. My SM said it was fine for her to be alone for 30 but I went early. Lobby was closed, but were we not supposed to do that?

Why....would you take your break after the 3rd person left.... why not before???

Yea I try and schedule 30s when we have that 3rd person even if they're earlier than the DCR says, bc it's more fair to have 2 partners on the floor than just 1. Then again, we rarely have 3 people on the floor after like 2 or 3pm (we close at 8, cafe store) so p much every close we switch between 1 person running the floor while the other is on break or my barista running the floor while I do my pull.
My SM has been pushing for us to clock out for our meals even when we don't have time (specifically shifts) so I typically clock out for my 30 while I do my pull. I'm a green bean shift so I completely forgot that we get paid 30s when it's a 2 person play...🙃 Until someone from another store brought it up. So I'm gonna say no, you should have been clocked in for those 10 mins that it was just you and your shift, since you can get pulled onto the floor whenever. That's the idea behind the paid 30s anyways.
Labor is BS

When there is a two partner play and one person clocks out, that shows that there is one person on the floor/in the store. That is against policy and regardless of you're reasoning, is a fire able offense.
