someone asked my coworker for the barbie drink yesterday & she’s like that’s not a menu item but if you have a recipe we can do it and the dude was like so you know the recipe and she was like uh no and he backed out of the dt 😭

Someone asked me for this, and I asked if they had a recipe. They told me it was a menu item. I explained to them that it is not and that I needed a recipe. They then asked for red bull drinks. After being told no, she called me a b*tch and left. I wish I could just deny people these special drinks.

this site has been a thing for a super long time, i remember ordering drinks off of it in middle/high school before i was a barista. i always brought the recipe to the register though!! it’s honestly only an issue when ppl don’t have the recipe and expect us to know 100s of secret menu drinks by heart

Im telling you, we need to host our own website with all of these drinks listed but all the recipes are just “tall pike.” Lol. Then we can point to the website and say “see, it says right there that Barbie Pink Frappuccino” is a tall cup full of pike place roast.

Fuck it is that bad. If it didn't exist in the first place they couldn't look the drinks up on demand so easily, and we could just say "that's not a menu item and I can't make it without a recipe." The next time someone asks for a Santa Clause or Mermaid frappuchino.

I don’t mind these as long as they have the recipe. However, when client come and will say “make me the Barbie drink” and expect us to know what that is and they literally get ANGRY when we don’t is unacceptable! It’s not a menu item! How are we supposed to know what customizations you want to make a “Barbie drink”
