It was so nice to not have to have a single cognitive thought for 4 hours

Successful-Regret-76 [OP]39 points7m ago

I actually just scheduled a barista for 4 hours of non coverage to do this. They’ve been begging for weeks. Don’t blame them our back room is a mess.

Give me a task that doesn't require dealing with snooty people for 4+ hours and I'll be a happy camper.

Where did you end up putting the pumpkin once you took it out of the hand washing sink?
Successful-Regret-76 [OP]14 points7m ago
We had an extra smaller shelf in the break room that I loaded them up onto
TylerJ71618 points7m ago
At forst I read "we have an extra smaller sink" and I about died laughing

One time I was being trained, my trainer called out and I was scheduled for a 11 hour day, except they put me in planted positions alone and I had no idea what I was doing. I catch on quickly but I misunderstood a customer and she said I should be fired and that I’m dumb. Yeah I cried lol. I still work here tho
Professor_Sqi1 points7m ago
Lord, the dream. Loved days where there was extra so I would go "right, these jobs have been overlooked but are helpful. Lets do these"
Superduperfreddy1 points7m ago
Dark caramel is that you??
megs12881 points7m ago
I would love to do this at my store

Always great to reorganize but these should not be touching the floor because they set on the counter. You should try to keep them in the box or on another shelf when arranging! Please be mindful of food safety, people drop the cups on the counter and if this is setting up there not washed after setting on the floor.. it could transfer germs to the cup.
mewwissa-27 points7m ago
The syrup on the floor 🥴🤢
weepingaj16 points7m ago
Unless your'e planning to lick the bottom of the bottle it is totally fine.
mewwissa-7 points7m ago
Once again, food safety has left the chat lol. Y’all wild.
weepingaj3 points7m ago
I guarantee that this bottle has been in far worse places than a floor in it's shipping and manufacturing lifetime. You're not putting the bottom of the bottle in customers drinks.

Ask your local health inspector and hop off my jock
rusted176 points7m ago
Someone has clearly never worked stock
mewwissa-10 points7m ago
I was a full time closing barista for 2 years, full time opening SSV for 3. I’ve made/ put away more orders and done more clean plays than probably 80% of the people in this sub. Never once was it cool to put product on our dirty ass floor. 🤣
looker0091 points7m ago
She can wipe it before she put it on the shelf.
knufflebunnie2 points7m ago
It's not like it was staying there.
charliemagnee1 points7m ago
Literally tho how are y’all downvoting this. No way those got wiped off before going on the shelf, and then straight onto the counter. You might as well our customers drinks on the floor lol this is disgusting
