They can’t withhold tips but if you are not signing the punch log, they technically are not supposed to pay you for those hours. It’s lame and most managers just put the hours in and tell you to sign the book

my sm said he would keep ppls tips if they didn’t read and sign the weekly update lmao. but i don’t think he’s actually enforcing it

mine is saying we won’t be able to receive our tips if we have unsigned punches in the book, which, yeah you should sign that, however withholding tips over a two second reminder to fill in the book is over the top.
