People who interrupt you while you're on bar, during peak, to say you're doing it wrong, then proceed to say you did it correctly and they didn't see you pull the correct shots.

People who don't mark out food when we're out.

People who don't tell you what they are waiting on, and it's a random window order that doesn't have a sticker.

People who talk over you while your trying take order

Regular barista (only been there month longer then you) acting like she is sm

People who on support and run out coffee doesn’t tell anyone that they are out and they don’t start brewing it till it’s time in cycle.

People who just want be on bar and if they aren’t on bar pitches a fit and will do anything to be moved

People who take 20 mins on there 10s

people who go on customer support just to sit in the back and “wash dishes” with no headset during peak

shift leads who go in the back to talk and joke around with each other during peak and ignore us when we ask for support

People who don’t break down their boxes

People who work around Frappuccino’s and ask for bar help to avoid them

People who don’t shake drinks

People who come up to "help" you but take over the entire drink while you stand there like "uh..."


People who do nothing when it's quiet. Just stand there and talk.


"The other barista" people who let customers get away with anything just to make their own shift easier.


People who don't spray the stickers when they put an empty container back there. Bonus points if you have 30 seconds to fill the empty dragon fruit inclusion bowl so it soaks or fill the empty mocha container with some water. Anything to make it easier to clean later.


Shifts who leave you in one position all day,every day... Nobody should spend the entire shift on Drive unless they want to.


Customers lol I'm kidding about this one.... mostly.

People who stand in the center of the pathway and do nothing except be in the way

People who put dishes through the sani without spraying them first

People who don’t disassemble pumps and just throw them through the sani whole

Cs not wearing a headset during peak and you have to constantly shout for everything

People who sit on counters

People who finish their assigned task then just sit there motionless

People who hand out dirty cups

People who stack the shaker lid on the bottom of the shaker

People who can’t take orders right
People who order the craziest shit and then want it differently
People who just are rude af when trying to calm them down and then throw a drink at you

people from window who come to bar and start pulling your stickers during peak

people from window/dto who blatantly ignore the drinks that are ready and start making the drink the car at the window is waiting on when it’s already done

people who do not clean up after themselves on the bar

people who say refuse to clean the oven

people who do not rinse the urns

people who do not change the sanitiser

- PEOPLE WHO WOULD TALK ON HEADSET WHILE I WAS TRYING TO TAKE ORDERS!!!

- similar to your “inclusions down the drain” gripe op, people who would clog the cold bar sink drain and then refuse to take accountability and unclog it.

- people who were chronically 10-15 minutes late and NEVER called the store to say they’d be late

- people who were wildly out of dress code every day (I’m not talking “non-approved colors” I mean like, elaborately painted nails, tank tops, hoodies, sandals, etc)

- people who didn’t move with urgency and caused bottlenecks of customers to form in cafe/drive. (See also: people who watch TikToks on their phones while at work instead of doing their jobs)

I liked/was friends with almost everybody (a couple of these list items are about people that I specifically was **not** friends with tho) at my old store and we had a pretty good dynamic at least compared to our counterparts in our district but damn, some of this shit drove me crazy lol.

People who call for restocks/more ice too early. You have (1) 2% missing? Ok. You'll be okay. Start asking when you take the 2nd to last one, and I'll have you restocked in no time. You're missing just 1/4 an ice bin? Call me when you have 1/4 an ice bin left.

People who are managers

my biggest pet peeve bc it screwed me up yesterday is pulling all my stickers for me. i now tell people "if you're going to pull a sticker, you're making that drink. just tell me the information, or write it on a cup."

I totally understand all these comments but this is why I want a different job. I love it and I love my regulars but there is soooo much to tip tow around, not to mention mean customers lol. Too anxiety inducing and for that I’m out lol

People who say things are standard when they actually just want you to do it that way.

coworkers who come into the drive thru and then take 9 years to say hello to everyone at the window

People on drive who don’t tell me they need a mobile and just wait quietly at the window.
