is it possible to transfer to a store in another country?(self.starbucksbaristas)

I am a college student and will be studying abroad in Australia next year (I live in the U.S.). While abroad, I will need a way to financially support myself, so I was wondering if transferring to a store in another country is possible? And how do I go about this process if it is?

You would need to make sure you were eligible to work during your stay. Then I'd imagine you'd have to communicate with the store manager after you got there. To be frank I don't think it's possible to transfer from one to the other across nations like that.

i believe it’s possible, at least when u go from the us to canada. when i moved from the us to canada two years ago my sm offered to help me transfer to a new store. i turned him down but he said it was possible so yeah!

nope, us and ca cant even swap. you’ll have to go through training as there are different beverages and recipies for every country :)

I think the legality of a work visa is the challenge rather than learning new recipes……
