Savings account (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by shabalaba01
For those who have their pay schedule set to be changed to weekly rather than bi weekly, how does that affect contributions set to the new savings program? I think i enrolled to put out $100 from each pay check (when it was biweekly), but now that it’s weekly I obviously don’t want to take 100 out every single week. I can’t find any way to edit my contribution for the account or find any info about it on fidelity. Does anyone know about it?

yeah it got announced in the Sept 12-18th weekly update. Here’s what it said:

My Starbucks Savings - Eligible partners can now choose to save from their paycheck to a personal Fidelity® account. As you contribute and build savings, Starbucks will also contribute milestones, helping you to grow your savings faster. If an incentive eligible partner signs up to contribute at least $5 per paycheck, they will receive $50 to their account after the end of the month, and can earn up to $25 per quarter for their continued participation (for a maximum of 6 quarters). When they attain a balance of $400 at the end of a month, a $50 additional incentive will be deposited to their account. (Incentive eligible partners include those below the director level, 18 years old or more, with at least 90 days of employment at Starbucks).

I think you have to do into the fidelity money page and look at contributions. I recently upped from $5 to $25 through fidelity.

How do we change to weekly?

Unless you live in a state selected for weekly pay, you cannot, nor will it be changed until further notice.
