You can go into the app or website and just submit it! No need to *actually* talk to the sm/asm. Also can’t go wrong with letting them know that you’ve submitted a new availability sheet. Good luck :)

I just changed my availability as well. Before I did, I asked to chat with my manager and told her I'm going through some life changes and would find it easier to not be working mornings anymore, and if this would be okay with her. She said that would would be fine and approved my request. If you're comfortable with your manager, maybe try that

As long as you submit your availability before any schedules are made for that period your SM probably isn't going to actually acknowledge it beyond (hopefully) honoring it

I feel you on this one. My SM REQUIRES us to give a reason for any requested days off. In the app there is an optional section to put reason for Time off but she requires it, otherwise, denied. Which is annoying because maybe I don’t want her knowing all my business.

Similar to changing availability, you can do it on the app but they might ask you why or what your doing on the days/ times you can’t work. It’s super annoying but for the most part, they can’t deny your availability like they can Time off. You can just tell them it’s personal I guess 💁🏻‍♀️. Hopefully they take that and leave you alone
