YES!! Ive worked at bux for years and my fingers are swollen, red and painful permanently. I can no longer make drinks or if I do I have to take down the many syrups, ice tea and refreshers and put them on the counter. To repeatedly pump these items while holding your arm up high like that WILL cause you physical damage
Also having to repeatedly open milk jugs, pour liquids, rotate wrists while cleaning pitchers. dumping used brewer coffee grounds, WILL damage your body
More recently I have found my body is in "fight, flight or freeze" mode with the stress hormones surging...Due to the many sights, sounds of machines, milk foaming, timers beeping, co workers conversing in the headset, customers voices in headset, while trying to talk to customers at the window or in lobby, music, grinding coffee, car engines idling, trying to go faster and faster to appease some unknow corporate robots
This may explain why myself and my co workers have developed anxiety and ADD

I was literally just think about this!!! But for me it's my right ring finger hurting because I'm getting a callus from the way I hold my milk pitcher 😩

That usually happens to my hands when I'm on bar for a while or in the window in the winter it's either the tips of fingers (probably from all the hot liquids) or my like knuckle area where my finger comes off my hand gets sore... Some stuff I've figured out to make it less sore or hurting is Epsom salt soaking (I like using some Epsom salt that has some natural oils like lavender oil or somethin) or I hear pad my entire hand and switch it after a few minutes so ya don't leave it on and potentially burn yourself.... Hopefully that helps!
