this is my exactly problem right now. sm cutting labor at 3pm to 3 people the rest of the night, no prep is done, constant customers and orders, people won’t just let you solo they HAVE to come help even tho i’m perfectly fine. i’m sick of it

I think the SSV should also be helping you guys out on the floor more too though. They can always do the pull and watch front or run support if needed . Definitely should try pushing tasks off as much as possible at least until you’re set on the floor. Try and do their pull in between each cycle. It’s possible.
At my store I was always told to prioritize what the baristas need/ setting them up good so that way if you do slide out you’re not really hurting them on the floor. I guess it also depends on how your manager is too though. We have shitty days for sure but we get it done, just have to work together.
