It’s a Saturday with a group of 20 people in cafe, you tiredly yell out a drink you’ve finished “venti iced white mocha for Sarah!” Sarah approaches and takes the drink, she looks baffled and as you hurry to start the next one she shouts at you. “Um, I order some food too??” You look at her, look down the bar at the chaos at the ovens.
You look back at her, “yeah it’ll be out in a moment” Sarah gets upset and cannot comprehend that her food is not also out at the same time as her drink.

Im screaming 😭😭 this was one of my top favorite episodes of spongebob lol it had me on edge cuz the fish character was so mean lmao

brooooo lmao this episode came in to my mind when a custy who just placed their cafe order and all they replied with to me was "..mY drInK?" when I handed them their cake pop.

Our one warming person services all channels (DT, cafe, delivery, MOP), while at peak we usually have three bars. It’s really fun when you call out their drink and they’re like, “Ummmmm there was supposed to also be a sandwich??” And I look back at warming, which now has a second partner helping to try to speed things up on a 7-food-item delivery, and I say, “Yeah it’s probably in the queue. Should be out soon.” I know you’re waiting. I know you want to leave. We are trying our best to get you out on your way. 😭😭

Lol that’s why we don’t call everything out until the full order is complete.
