Is this a barista to barista question? Or just general Starbucks inquiry? Just maybe to help understand what questions you're asking?

No I bought a gift card. They didn’t ask my name because when I scanned it the coffee I ordered had another name on it. As if the gift card was already registered. I’m not a barista. I’m asking you guys cuz you work at Starbucks
