at least they know what they want, what's worse is when they come up to the counter expecting the barista to pick a drink for them.

"what's your fav frap?" babes i haven't had a milkshake in five years, and if i wanted a dessert beverage, i'd go to an ice cream shop.

Lol like the lady who came to my store. My manager rung her up at the register. The lady ordered a few drinks. She starts off "can i get 2 venti frappuccinos?" And my manager was like "sure! What flavor would u like?" And as the lady is staring directly at the menu board for frappuccinos she says "i dont know". My manager had to baby her the whole way thru so she goes "so we have a coffee frappuccino, would u like that?" And the lady said "yea, whatever, thats fine"......people, when u are guna send someone to pick up something for u, please be specific with them about what u want cuz otherwise they might bring u back something u dont like

Thankfully I don't really have this happen with fraps, I honestly enjoy when customers ask this about most anything else bc I'm just a huge coffee and tea person

I hate these untrusting allergy people who think you will intentionally poison them. I understand caution and remedy it as best I can using clean equipment, as you should. But such lack of trust! Go make your own shit!

it only takes one barista to mess up someone’s drink and make them sick to lose trust. im not saying the customer is always right, but let’s not pretend like we don’t make mistakes. The reason most customers are untrusting is because someone messed up and gave them dairy or caffeine despite the label being correct.

We cannot promise anything free from cross contamination. We can take precautions, but if your allergy is that severe, it is not wise to come to Starbucks! Order coffee (hot or iced) add whatever, including non dairy milk. Just do not order anything that uses shared equipment with stuff you are allergic to. If you cannot do that, make your own stuff at home. It is not our responsibility!
