I just made a post about being too nervous to call out sick. However I sucked it up and did it anyways because I really cannot work in this condition. My manager picked up the phone and I explain to her that I’m calling out sick. The first thing she asks me is “ did you call around to find coverage“ I told her I did not. (The only other supervisors at our store are unavailable) she told me I “really needed to work on that” and I explain to her that I was under the impression that if I was sick I was not responsible for finding my own coverage. She simply said “okay” then hung up. Currently looking for new jobs I cannot stand her
