I didn't do it as a SM, but I did consistently work 45-50 hours as a main opener SSV while did my ASU online, full time. It's doable! Just set boundaries, get your school schedule ahead of time and plan to take days off for finals and stuff. Turn your phone on DND at a certain time, etc.
Congrats on pursuing a higher education!

I’m a shift, work 35-45 hours a week with a semi absent SM and do full credits at asu. I’ve failed classes because I would be working so much and trying to stop my store from imploding. There were days where I worked 12-15 hour shifts because of call outs, went home and did homework for hours just to sleep for two hours and repeat.
If you plan on promoting and doing asu, start off with one class especially if it’s been a while since you’ve been in school, follow the schedule your professor gives you and make sure you can dedicate the hours they recommend per credit hour because there are barely lectures, most of my classes have been textbook based.

As a current 40 hr/week and full time student it is doable. However, the thing that helps me the most is having a support system at work and home that helps me if I need to take time off or really need to focus. I’d be glad to answer any other questions you may have though:)

I say it’s possible, but I’m going based off I was working 40+ hrs a week while in my grad school program (different job and my grad program was in a related field). Was it difficult of course, but do-able sure. I was going to school part time, but it was grad school so the workload was intense.
ETA- I’m not an ASM/SM so I can’t speak to their workload and how it compares to my workload.
