i’d very politely ask them if they’d like an application. if they answer no, i’d say “then please take a seat and we will call you up when your drink is ready.”

I always told those people I wasn't working on their drink yet. Then they'd shut up and I'd hand it to them once finished. Eventually they'd get the point if repeat customers. Harder to do if they're the only ones in the store, but if it's busy or you're a DT store you can get away with it haha.

We have a regular who brings her own reusable venti cold-cup (to ensure she gets every last drop) and orders a grande caramel frap w/ 7 pumps caramel and extra whip to the top, she watches me like a hawk every time I make it for her aha

one time i had to make a esp frapp w no base extra ice and almond milk😐 when i went to pour it into the cup it did not pour at all. was basically an esp ice chunk and went all over the counter and about 30% of the drink made it into the cup. obvi remade it but just put x2 the amount of milk and it was still a bitch to pour.

It’s not like a lot of us don’t want to. But when I have literally 50 other stickers all around my bar, I have to sacrifice quality so I don’t get yelled at. 🙂 maybe Starbucks should figure out what they actually want from partners: fast food speed or cafe quality crafted beverages

It only really does for chunky things like frap chips. I don't drink fraps at work a lot anymore, but I get a Double Chocolate Chip once in a while and I hate it when a fat chunk clogs my straw. Double blending it makes that no longer an issue.
