You can transfer the physical to digital and combine so I think you can. But idk 100%. It just seems like the reverse would be possible.

people can use their gift cards on their app to purchase physical cards so i don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to

i don’t think you can buy a gift card with a gift card but you could buy a cute cup and gift that!! add on a coffee mark out and you’ve got a really nice gift!!

I believe you can! I've done it for someone before, and I think her situation was identical to yours. You can at least ask your barista to try, and especially if you go in later in the day when it's not super busy they'll be able to do their best to help you out.

We had a lady try to do this one time, and it actually worked! If it doesn't work first try, just add the e-card to the starbucks app and use that for the gift card. Although a cup or some coffee is also a cute gift!

I’m 90% sure you can, after all I ring people up with their app and they use their gift card to purchase. I think the only thing you can’t do is busy gift cards or reloads with a credit card scanner (ie you use your PayPal/debit in the app to pay). Otherwise it should work.
