i just had the same thing happen! i was so confused, i usually don’t get my direct deposit until friday.

If it’s a direct deposit lots of banks and credit unions will make the funds available to you as a courtesy a day or two earlier.

When I started with sbux I was getting paper checks for the first couple years on Friday, in the store. Almost everyone at the store did. Direct deposit existed but wasn’t as popular. When I switched over I’d have my paycheck as available funds as early as Thursday night.

Remember, it’s a courtesy. Don’t turn it into an expectation and always assume you’re getting paid on Friday.

IIRC, there was recently a payday where partners didn’t see their checks hit their accounts on Wednesday or Thursday when they expected it to, and it was a hiccup on the siren’s end but were paid on Friday as promised. Some partners assumed it’d hit earlier and were left in the lurch.

my pay also comes in early! it depends on your bank. Payroll finishes everything once the paycheck hours are locked in, so like monday or whatever, and it’s pretty much just up to how long your bank takes to process it (as far as i understand, im not a banker hahah)

Yes, never rely on it as sometimes things happen, but 9/10 times my bank pays me by midday Wednesday rather than Friday.

I did too. Never had this happen before but our store is switching to weekly pay this week so maybe that has something to do with it

My pay came in early too which is weird because my bank never pays me early. This is the first time this has happened

This was our first weekly paycheck in California and it hit my account on Wednesday even though all of my previous biweekly paychecks hit my account Friday morning. Probably just depends on what bank you have because I know some people didn’t get paid yet.

Maybe it’s because Christmas is next week and typically we get paid early for holidays? Or at least for thanksgiving we got paid early. But it seems like your on a different pay period so I’m not quite sure
