The other day during work I got a call about my father having been diagnosed with cancer. It was a slow day and my shift lead told me if I need to take the phone call from my grandma, I could. Found out and not gonna lie, had the hardest bit of a shift I’ve ever had. My shift lead talked to me, was kind etc. ASM put a card in my lil sleeve inbox.

“Though life maybe hard now, just know you’ve got a family here. We love you lots. Take your time and come grab your favorite on me.- *insert ASM name here*”

I'm so sorry to hear that. Big love and positive thoughts to you, your father, and your family and (as a caregiver myself) make sure you are able to practice self-care and lean on available support as much as possible. 🤍

The best was from a partner who recently moved across country, they left it on their last day. And if they see this…I miss you 🥲

My coworker left me one that simply said, “you are a milf.”
It was hilarious and made my day, she’s one of my favorite coworkers.

My district manager left for me today “we would not get through peak without you! You had some really amazing connections today”

I was doing another borrowed partner shift 2 months ago and I do a few a week. Was on break at said store and was handed a green apron card by my DM that said: “I appreciate your unwavering flexibility, and can’t wait to have you apart of my management team:)” this was after my asm panel, but I hadn’t received the results yet, so this confirmed my acceptance!
