SSV that is less than favorable (self.starbucksbaristas)

So, at my store we have an ssv who will constantly misgender parters, not give people breaks and then cause them to meal violate, and then say to them on the floor that it was their responsibility.

I suggested for people to contact PCC, especially because the misgendering has been happening for well over a year now for some partners. i’m not sure what else can be done.

are ethics and compliance the same as PCC or something different ?

If you google Starbucks ethics and compliance you should find a website where you can file an anyomous complaint. It might be part of it not exactly sure how it’s set up. But Ive used it and gotten issues taken care of real quick

This is absolutely unacceptable! Does not live our mission and values. Additionally, shift management (including breaks) are at the core of a ssv’s responsibility— if Incapable they should be on a corrective action. Please bring this to attention of your leaders: SM->DM-> ethics and compliance, if necessary

yeah, from my understanding at least with the misgendering, it has been happening for over a year and also our SM is aware. I was the one who meal violated and then she was passive aggressive towards me until I talked to my SM about it, and I haven’t had issues with her since.

so far from what partners have told me, she goes through phases of being like this, and i’m new to the store so I just don’t wanna deal with this regularly at work (same with everyone tho)

myself and another partner also might be setting up a meeting with our DM to talk with them about this, but for those that aren’t comfortable i’m giving them the link to ethics and compliance.
