Do you have a dexcom or do you have to manually inject every time? I feel like that may change responses to get a little more context

I had an ex that was a diabetic, it was a hard thing to control. Does your PCP have a diabetic educator that can help with how to do your meds/carb counting? It also depends on what kind of insulin you’re taking (long acting vs short acting) are you a type one or two, that can also help in understanding how to control your diabetes. If your sugar levels are all over the place I’d ensure you have a sugar pack on you at all times (preferably dominos or raw sugar that you can pop if you’re feeling low!) also evolution fresh juices (particularly orange or defense) can be marked out if you need a quick sugar boost (as they’re simple carbs!) also make sure you’re eating complex carbs like peanut butter (stuff that will raise your sugar, but will take time to break down!) *the egg and cheddar bento box is great as it has protein and almond butter!!*
I’d also get together with your shifts and communicate your diagnosis and just remind them you might need to take your breaks every 1.5-2.0 hours on the dot because of your levels!
