Being in the south a lot of our nicknames for product are plays on the ways our customers with drawls butcher words. Caremel matchata, frappicciner, beggin gouder (bacon Gouda) and vanilla cold form come to mind

Everyone here is talking about their goofy nicknames for real items, and here I am working at a non-Bux cafe these days and my coworkers give me a “deer in headlights” look over:

-cafe misto (they know it as a cafe au lait)

The place that holds all the syrups between our two hot bars is called middle earth, it asks if you have jaundice on the sick checkin thing and that somehow morphed into jaundy grande for a size, and the stick we have to push down trash is Joffrey. We also have a rock that we put in the outside tip jar called Rocco.
