hey all does anyone know if im able to take a LOA for mental health, im only a minor but it’s making it hard to show up to work and i hate calling out all the time.

yes u can.! i took one last spring. your options are
-personal loa. Requires SM and DM approval up to 30 days unpaid
-medical loa. Requires a doctor or therapist to fill out a form being like “user has XYZ condition (or no condition but is being treated). user comes to my office x times a month. user should be out of work for x amount of days to treat said condition” and then it’s paid at 66% of ur pay

you can take a loa for any personal reason. you don’t need to disclose the reason why. just say it’s personal

I work at a licensed store so it’s probably different for us. honestly just look up on reddit “loa starbucks” and it should help
