so i currently work at a tarbucks but i kind of want to work at a retail starbucks location because my store is toxic. i literally applied like 5 minutes ago and so many posts said to call and follow up, is it too soon to do that now? or is it too late in the day to inquire? thanks in advance!

Many places likely are not hiring right now. They will start again after the new year when the holidays are over. I’m sure your experience with Starbucks will boost the likelihood of them hiring you!! I’d just wait till after the new year to call tbh:)

Also should mention that you'd have to quit ur licensed location to move to corporate store before even getting an interview since it's considered “poaching”. Also many places are waiting until the new year to start hiring since it's super busy this time of year and don't have the time to train new baristas (you'd still have to go through all the training as if u were brand new)
