is she talking about the toasted wm and the caramel brulee? because those yes. not the syrup ones though. she may be confused or miscommunicating which ones to throw out.

the white syrup ones!! not sauce ones

This will be a shock to some reading but your pumps are supposed to be changed out, at minimum, once a month. However, if you have none to replace them with, I can understand your frustration and confusion. Sorry you're being put in this position. They're an order able item and I would just order ahead so situations like this don't occur

I agree. our team lead has no idea wtf she’s doing
somewheredaydreaming1 points6m ago
I'm not surprised. Lots of partners, especially newer ones seem to not be getting the proper knowledge as of late 🙃
darkwolf5231 points6m ago
I’ve been doing/told wrong then.
itsyaboimikey_1 points6m ago
sadly in my area even if you order them its a tossup whether or not you’ll get them
somewheredaydreaming1 points6m ago
It's company wide unfortunately. There is an insanely large amount of items right now that are not orderable due to poor planning. Honestly, there's no other excuse, they do this to themselves. 🙄 Just try to keep ordering them until they arrive, you may even be able to get some from another store if possible. As a new transfer to a more remote location, i know that may not be possible either

the white syrup pumps can be rinsed and reused in the same type of syrup. however they cannot be washed and used in a different flavor.
Professional-Cat39312 points6m ago
Directly from Partner Hub: Plastic pumps are not designed to be cleaned and should not be sanitized, run through the dishwasher, or rinsed with water. They should be discarded and replaced when they are worn, no longer calibrated, clogged, or otherwise unusable.
sydthesquid959 points6m ago
They shouldn’t be rinsed. You can wipe them down with a sani cloth but you shouldn’t get water inside them. It will effect the flavour of syrups and they can’t be disassembled to remove any water or buildup like a chai pump for example. You are correct though, you should never use a pump in 2 different flavours.

My DM says that we have to replace every pump and when ordering syrup, you have to order the correlating amount of pumps! So yes your lead is right, but should also be ordering new ones.
Professional-Cat3932 points6m ago
Your DM says you’re supposed to replace the pumps after use in one bottle of syrup?
BatWeary5 points6m ago
Our DM has literally watch us transfer syrup pumps to a new bottle. Regional manager too…first I’m hearing of this
celloqueer1 points6m ago
That’s interesting considering that I can only get 3 white pumps max on a Nashville order 🤔
borrowedurmumsvcard1 points6m ago
okay thank you!
andersonm4994 points6m ago
I wish the pumps just came with the syrup like the holiday sauces do
deathbeforedecaf19842 points6m ago
Pumps only have to be tossed if they have a lot of build up. They can’t be washed but you can use them several times before having to toss them as long as they’re put in the same flavor syrups. You can’t put a vanilla pump in to a caramel one, but the syrup pumps aren’t one and done like the sauces are.
Wonderful-Put-59721 points6m ago
You supposed to throw them out and use a new pump, but only if you have them! It's in Beverage Manual in Store Resources on ipad
