That's a dumb rule, what is the jar supposed to be for other than tips? Plus with debit/credit tipping now, it seems odd to not be able to write the word "tips" Anyway, that rule doesn't exist in my district

Uh I’d take that over your DM’s head and to ethic and compliance. Tips are part of the barista experience and you should be allowed to collect them.
