what if they do? just make it how it was requested and fit as much as you can into the cup. my two favorite drinks always taste different every time i get them and i have no clue why but it's so disappointing to look forward to it and it not be what i expected. stores should be following standards and not messing with drink orders

in this case the shots and ice wouldnt even fit in the shaker if standard and that ticket was followed. Sometimes what you want isnt always possible, sorry for the bad news

i definitely don't expect everything i want to be possible, not bad news. i also wouldn't have known that the shots wouldn't have fit in the shaker until you told me because i never received an order with so many shots before. however shouldn't you communicate with the customer before altering their order?

about 4-5 long shots is enough to fill a venti cup. 11 long shots in a venti will absolutely not work and they will end up not getting their money's worth as $6 in shots will not even fit into the drink. the only way we can ensure all 11 shots make it in the drink is by pulling them as regular shots. it's not us trying to cut corners or not do things because we don't want to...with mobile orders we often have to make executive decisions because we don't have the option of communicating with customers while we make their order. with something like this i would make that decision to pull them as regular shots because i have the customer's best interest in mind and assume that they don't know the shots wouldn't fit, but still want them to get their money's worth. trust me, the last thing we want is a customer to be unhappy with their drink because usually that gets turned back on us

also, if your drink is different every time, there's a possibility that it's a similar situation where the baristas are having to make a decision. if you tell me your order id be happy to help you possibly find a better way to order it

I used to have a customer who ordered a 12 shot ristretto shaken espresso it would fit in a venti so 11 regular should be okay. Just light ice lol

a ristretto shot is less water than a regular shot. a long shot uses more water which makes this impossible

Yeah, I know. Not entirely sure how much less water is used, which is why I figured one less shot than the 12 would be okay with light ice... But maybe 10 would be better... But you'd have to be real careful shaking it lol exploding espresso is no fun.

I once got an order like this, ended up pulling a single long shot and the rest regular lmao. The customer was a nurse tho and I always try to be sympathetic when I get these orders, yknow they goin through it to pay double the cost of the drink to get all them shots 🥴
